Drummonds was founded in 1988 by Drummond Shaw, who at the time was restoring his period home and was struggling to obtain authentic architectural antiques.

Drummond took advantage of this experience to create Drummonds Architectural Antiques and quickly established himself as the best dealer of architectural antiques in the UK.

Although the company bought and sold a wide variety of architectural antiques, Drummond’s main passion was classic bathrooms. Finding beautiful original bathroom pieces that could be restored and used with modern plumbing systems was becoming increasingly difficult.

In the early 1990s, the company began manufacturing a few selected pieces to form a range of classic bathroom items of superior quality. In order to offer a design and construction of the highest quality, it was essential to embark on three manufacturing processes with brass, iron and clay.

Today, Drummonds is a manufacturer and retailer of classic bathroom products.

Manufacturing their own ranges, allows Drummonds to focus on the quality and visual impact of each item and, maintain a higher level of quality that their customer needs.

In 2011, Drummonds obtained ISO 9001:2008 certification. Satisfaction for the company that confirms a level of excellence in their products and services.
