The company was founded in 1930 as the exclusive importer of the Slovak producer of the first toothbrushes with celluloid handle. After acquiring the brand and know-how of the company Bratislavan in 1950, Koh-I-Noor began its Italian production.
The product line immediately expanded to include hair brushes, badgers and make-up mirrors to increase the supply of personal care products.
