Round pedestal washbasin in clay. Cenote, designed by Patricia Urquiola for Agape, is a washbasin that breaks away from the usual decorative styles. The hand-crafted refractory stone leaves the outer surface deliberately rough, while the glazed interior is pleasantly smooth to the touch and shiny to the eye. Available in a range of finishes and sizes.

Description

Cenote is a collection of washbasins designed by Patricia Urquiola that reveals a magnetic presence full of material and sensory vibrations. Far from traditional decorative styles, the fireclay surface is carefully crafted to leave the exterior deliberately rough. Surprisingly, the glazed interior is pleasantly smooth to the touch and shiny. An evocative play of contrasts between roughness and softness combines with the craftsmanship to make each washbasin a unique, distinctive and precious object. The washbasins are available in two different sizes in dark lava stone and fireclay in red or dark grey finish.

The interior is available in four different colours:

  • Natural earth / transparent glaze
  • Natural earth / creamy white glaze
  • Dark earth / transparent glaze
  • Dark earth / blue glaze
